Warranty Guidelines

  1. Warranty period starts from the date of the original purchase of the product by the end-user.
  2. The warranty period specified against respective item/model may vary.
  3. To claim warranty, user must submit via email the original proof of purchase, which clearly indicates the name and address of the seller, the date and place of purchase and valid serial number (if applicable).
  4. The Company reserves the right to refuse to repair/service any products in the absence of any of the following:
    1. Original Proof of purchase
    2. Valid serial number on Product (if applicable)


  1. Any physical damage to the product shall render the warranty on the product null and void. Repairs or service on such products shall be purely on chargeable basis and at the sole discretion of the Company.


  1. In the event of any service being availed from Company on chargeable basis, the charges for the same must be paid via e-transfer in advance to the company.


  1. For any claim under this warranty, Company will, at its discretion, repair or replace any malfunctioning products by using new or factory-refurbished products.  In case a replacement is provided, it will be fulfilled with an equivalent performance device only, with or without packaging & accessories. In the event Company opts to use factory-refurbished products, they will have the performance characteristics equal to or better than those of the faulty product. All products replaced under this Limited Warranty will become the property of the Company.


  1. Some of the products may have one or more special features along with the regular features. Company warrants such products to be free from malfunction in materials and/or workmanship under conditions of normal use.


  1. Sortd shall not cover any claim or compensation for inconvenience, loss of time, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, loss of data, loss of goodwill, work stoppage, any personal and/or commercial loss, compensation for mental agony, anxiety, etc.


  1. Sortd will make every effort to carry out repair/replace at the earliest to its customers, in cases of delays due to uncontrollable scenarios, we are under no obligation to do so in a specified period of time.



Warranty does not extend to:  

  1. Any products not manufactured by or for the Company will not be covered.
  2. If the Sortd products presented for warranty support are more than the warranty timespan mentioned above from the date of purchase mentioned in the proof of purchase. For certain product categories, support services shall be provided on chargeable basis as out-of-warranty cases
  3. Any products damaged or rendered unusable because of use for purposes other than its normal intended use or in a manner not in conformity with standard handling norms of similar products or use of product in inappropriate operating environment or abnormal use.
  4. Failure to use the product in accordance with the User manual that may accompany the product, or any other abuse or neglect with respect to the product.
  5. Servicing, repairs, modifications or handling etc. by any unauthorized personnel.
  6. Damage resulting from improper packaging during transportation of the product to the Company Service Centre.
  7. Damage resulting from improper use / installation of third-party product or software.
  8. Damage caused by external factors to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure.
  9. Defects due to cause beyond control like lightning, abnormal voltage and any component burn due to that, or electric failures due to power surge and acts of God will not be covered.
  10. Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, extreme temperatures, atmospheric conditions or other acts of nature.


  1. Product attacked or damaged by house pests, pets, rodents etc.
  2. Any physical damage to the product
