SHIPPING POLICY

Delivery of products

  1. Once an order is placed on our website, we will ship your product via our logistic partners 
  2. All purchases are shipped from our own or third-party warehouses/ offices from various points in India. We try our level best to make the products reach you within 7-10 working day from the date of receipt of order depending on your location.
  3. Please note that the orders will not be shipped till the time the payment is cleared
  4. Please make sure to double check the shipping addresses to ensure the delivery. Since the transactions are authorised by the card holder, we do not take responsibility for incorrect addresses provided at the time of placing the order
  5. If item returns to us due to incorrect shipping information, we will notify our customer that order has been returned. The Company will provide customer refund for the purchase, minus any shipping charges.
  6. We do not ship partial orders; your order will be packaged for shipment when all items are ready for shipment.
  7. We are not responsible for damage of products after delivery.
  8. All claims, if any, for shortages or damages must be reported to customer service on the day of delivery through the support@getsortd.in. 
  9. In case your order has not been delivered but is reflecting “Delivered” on the tracker, please highlight it within 48 hours or else we will not be able to process your request.
Lost Or Delayed Packages

If you have not received your order within 15 working days of dispatch (not including Sundays & holidays), you must immediately advise Customer Services of the delay/loss.

Order Tracking

After you have placed your order online, we will send you an order confirmation email. In the body of this email you will find information about when your products will be delivered with tracking details

If you do not receive this email within 48 hours of placing your order or your products have not been delivered within the timescale stated in the email, then please send our Customer Service team by using our online form between 10 am and 6 pm Monday - Saturday.

RETURN, REFUND & REPLACEMENT POLICY

Return and refund of a product is allowed only under the following circumstances:

  1. To be eligible for Return/ Refund, the product should have been purchased from the website www.getsortd.in. Any product purchased from any retail shop or other e-commerce platforms, the customer needs to contact the place from where he has purchased the product.  
  2. In case you want to return the product and claim a refund you need to send an email to support@getsortd.in within 15 days of purchase date.
  3. Once you raise a return ticket, we will arrange for pick-up of the product(s). We will examine the product once it reaches our warehouse 
  4. There may be a delay in refund process for reasons beyond our control such as bank delays, national holidays, natural calamities etc. 
  5. Refund will not be processed if:
  • There is a physical damage or an electrical surge or any damage caused by the user.
  • The returned product is not sent in its original packaging and returned in the same condition as when sold to the customer, including all packaging, parts, accessories, manuals, and documentation. The returned product(s) must be repackaged properly so that it is not damaged during shipping
Replacement or Refund Policy

For replacement of a product please raise a query on support@getsortd.in as per below mentioned policy:

    1. In case of defect in the product, the customer can replace the product received within 15 days from the date of delivery and get a replacement unit delivered to the customer. For this the customer needs to establish that the product delivered is not functioning properly within 15 days from the date of delivery.
    2. In case the customer receives the material with physical damage, replacement will be provided. For this the customer needs to intimate the company that the product delivered in defective condition or has a physical damage within 24 hours of receipt of the product and share necessary photos or videos.
    3. We will arrange for a pick-up of the product. The product along with all accessories and original packaging will be picked up by appointed courier person. We will conduct appropriate assessment at our end to determine the defect in or the physical damage on the product
    4. After conducting all appropriate assessment if the product comes out to be defective then we will initiate refund of the full amount or give a replacement as per what the customer prefers
    5. However, the company will not provide any replacement or refund in the following case: 
  • If there is a physical damage or an electrical surge or any damage caused by the user
  • If the returned product is not sent in its original packaging and returned in the same condition as when sold to you, including all packaging, parts, accessories, manuals, and documentation. The returned product(s) must be repackaged properly so that it is not damaged during shipping.
  • If the customer has falsely claimed defect in the product which was not found during company’s assessment of the product. 

Note: In the case, it is found that the product is not replaceable or refundable, the customer will have to bear the shipping cost. Product will be returned to the customer once the customer pays the entire shipping cost.

    Warranty Guidelines
    1. Warranty period starts from the date of the original purchase of the product by the end-user.
    2. The warranty period specified against respective item/model may vary.
    3. To claim warranty, user must submit via email the original proof of purchase, which clearly indicates the name and address of the seller, the date and place of purchase and valid serial number. 
    4. The Company reserves the right to refuse to repair/service any products in the absence of any of the following:
    • Original Proof of purchase
    • Valid serial number on Product 
    1. Any physical damage to the product shall render the warranty on the product null and void. Repairs or service on such products shall be purely on chargeable basis and at the sole discretion of the Company.
    2. In the event of any service being availed from Company on chargeable basis, the charges for the same must be paid via e-transfer in advance to the company.
    3. For any claim under this warranty, Company will, at its discretion, repair or replace any malfunctioning products by using new or factory-refurbished products.  In case a replacement is provided, it will be fulfilled with an equivalent performance device only, with or without packaging & accessories. In the event Company opts to use factory-refurbished products, they will have the performance characteristics equal to or better than those of the faulty product. All products replaced under this Limited Warranty will become the property of the Company.
    4. Some of the products may have one or more special features along with the regular features. Company warrants such products to be free from malfunction in materials and/or workmanship under conditions of normal use.
    5. Sortd shall not cover any claim or compensation for inconvenience, loss of time, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, loss of data, loss of goodwill, work stoppage, any personal and/or commercial loss, compensation for mental agony, anxiety, etc.
    6. Sortd will make every effort to carry out repair/replace at the earliest to its customers, in cases of delays due to uncontrollable scenarios, we are under no obligation to do so in a specified period of time.
    Warranty Does Not Extend To:
    1. Any products not manufactured by or for the Company will not be covered.
    2. If the Sortd products presented for warranty support are more than the warranty timespan mentioned above from the date of purchase mentioned in the proof of purchase. For certain product categories, support services shall be provided on chargeable basis as out-of-warranty cases.
    3. Any products damaged or rendered unusable because of use for purposes other than its normal intended use or in a manner not in conformity with standard handling norms of similar products or use of product in inappropriate operating environment or abnormal use.
    4. Failure to use the product in accordance with the User manual that may accompany the product, or any other abuse or neglect with respect to the product.
    5. Servicing, repairs, modifications or handling etc. by any un-authorized personnel.
    6. Damage resulting from improper packaging during transportation of the product to the Company Service Centre. Expense incurred by the customer to send the product to Sortd’s service centre to claim Warranty. Such expenses are non-refundable.
    7. Damage resulting from improper use / installation of third-party product or software. Defects or damage caused to the product in conjunction or connection with accessories, products not approved by the Company.
    8. Damage caused by external factors to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure.
    9. Defects due to cause beyond control like lightning, abnormal voltage and any component burn due to that, or electric failures due to power surge and acts of God will not be covered.
    10. Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, extreme temperatures, atmospheric conditions or other acts of nature.
    11. Product attacked or damaged by house pests, pets, rodents etc.
    12. Any physical damage to the product. 
    13. Free products. 
    14. Lost or stolen products.
    15. Products purchased from un-authorized online & offline re-sellers.

    How To Claim A Warranty?

    Online Channel

    1. To avail warranty service on covered defects during the warranty period, you can write to us on support@getsortd.in.
    2. While claiming. Please share details of the purchase order/ bill/ invoice/ product images along with the product related complaint.
    Offline Channel

    Any product purchased from any retail shop or other e-commerce platforms, the customer needs to contact the place from where you have purchased the product.
